While most Drones are really geared for hobbyists and professional drone flyers, there are a few good drones on the market for kids. Novice flyers in general will need drones that are more durable that can take a beating. The drones for kids should be able to crash and get back up to fly right away. No one is going to want to have to buy parts for a brand new drone that just was crashed once, so after all the research, we feel that there are a couple drones that really will stand up to a beating and come back for more.

We took a look at the Dromida Ominus UAV Quadcopter before, but we had to come back to it for this post due to it's awesome durability and long flight times. Kids will love the fact that they don't really have to worry about crashing (under normal conditions), and that they can really get out there and have fun with the drone. We love that the drone has pre-programmed flight settings that are geared for kids - Easy mode is set for your absolute beginners, and you can step up to normal, advanced and expert as they get better at flying!

We liked The Hubsan X4 H107C so much that we featured it as one of the best Christmas gifts for anyone who wanted to fly a drone. We chose this because it was so easy to fly and also came with a really nice camera on board so that your kid could take videos and still shots while flying! It comes with rotor guards to protect the blades during flights and crashes, and also will get up and come back for more!

The Hubsan X4 H107C sells for an average of $50-$70 on Amazon.com
